Prevent Mosquito Bites

The Summer Is Here & Bugs Are Out

Mosquitos are not just a day pest but also annoy during the night so take a few steps to keep yourself and your loved ones safe from those itchy bites.

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Provention) advices to wear loose fitting clothing, it’s harder for bugs to get to your skin if the clothing is too loose and not always touching. Also use bug repellant, there are several different types of bug repellants that might work for you so check the link below to see which would be most beneficial to you.

When inside, check the screen covering your windows, make sure they are in the proper order and secure. Then see if there are any opportunities for the bugs to lay eggs in a water source. Is there an open water bottle nearby that no one has moved in a few days or a week? Or is there a birdbath outside that hasn’t been cleaned in a bit of time?
